Flag Zoom Meeting Recordings for Review

Hydra can help you automatically analyze Zoom meeting recordings and flag the ones that require review. You can train these Scanners to flag recordings based on your own criteria. For example, you can create and train a Hydra Scanners to flag recordings where mergers & acquisitions are being discussed. Or, you can create a Scanner to flag customer conversations where customers are expressing their frustration. Hydra integrates with leading enterprise software products like Box to help orchestrate complete workflows.

Hydra flags Zoom meeting recordings for review based on the contents of conversations and move the recording files to Box. Hydra sets the file metadata on Box indicating whether the recording should be reviewed. Hydra applies transcript and keywords to Box files' Skills panel making it easy to browse the video content and review recordings.

The first part of this guide covers how to set up a Hydra Scanner for flagging meeting recordings for review. And, the second part covers how you can automate the review workflow using Box.

Part I

Before we get started, please make sure that you have a Zoom subscription that allows recording to the cloud. And, your Zoom account allows you to install apps from the Zoom App Marketplace.

1.1. Install the Hydra app on your Zoom account: if you haven't already, install the Hydra app from the Zoom App Marketplace. More information here

1.2. Create a Zoom Scanner on Hydra: Hydra Scanners are A.I. models. You can create them through our UI. This guide covers the process of creating a Scanner to flag various city council meeting recordings that include budget discussions. However, you can build Hydra Scanners to flag any type of conversation. Access the Scanners page, click on the plus icon, select the template — Flag Zoom conversations based on transcript data, and follow the prompts.

1.3.  Collect training data: Your new Scanner is going to receive data from cloud recorded meetings. Allow some time to collect about a dozen recordings. We will use these recording transcripts to train Hydra on which conversations should be flagged for review.

1.4.  Train your Scanner: Once you have about a dozen recording transcripts available, use the Train button on the Scanner card to access the trainer UI and show Hydra examples of conversations that should be marked for review.

Part II

Hydra's Box integration requires access to the Box Skills framework, which is available on paid plans. Please make sure you have access to the Box Admin Console before we get started.

2.1. Authorize the Hydra Skill on Box: Hydra uses the Box Skills Framework to make our A.I. capabilities available inside the Box platform. Follow the below steps to enable the Hydra Skill on your Box account. Hydra's Skill ID is: 6vyjnbpqalvkb1wt9x5mv0x9l975ppum

2.2. Create the folder structure and a Relay on Box: We need an incoming folder, in progress folder and a completed folder to move the recordings along their review lifecycle. And, we need a Relay to orchestrate this workflow. The following steps cover how to get this set up.

2.3. Create a Box connection on Hydra: In the next step, we are going to configure Hydra Actions to apply file metadata and move the file to the correct folder. This requires an authenticated Box connection from Hydra. The following steps describe the steps involved.

2.4. Update the Zoom Scanner to invoke Box Actions: In this step, we are going to update the Zoom Scanner that we created at step #2 to integrate it with Box.

2.5. Create a Box Scanner on Hydra: As the last step, we are going to create another Scanner that runs on Box content to apply the file with a transcript and keywords to make them easy to review.
